Reasons for investing in the precious asset metal gold.

Over the next 20 years, the yellow metal is expected to benefit from central bank buying and geopolitical uncertainty, leading to a sustained demand for gold. The growing use of gold in various industries, such as electronics and dentistry, is also expected to drive demand. As a result, we can expect gold prices to remain strong and potentially even increase over the next 20 years.
 
Silver, on the other hand, is expected to be more volatile in the short-term but also has a positive long-term outlook. The increasing demand for silver in renewable energy production, electronics, and other industries is expected to drive demand higher, leading to higher silver prices over the next 20 years. However, the price of silver may be impacted by shifts in the demand for other metals and the overall health of the global economy.
 
Natural gas is a commodity that is expected to see significant growth over the next 20 years. With the growing demand for cleaner energy sources, natural gas is expected to play a big role in meeting that demand.
The development of new technologies, such as fracking, is also expected to increase the supply of natural gas, leading to lower prices and making it a more accessible source of energy.
In conclusion, while the outlook for each of these commodities may change in the short-term, the long-term outlook remains positive. As always, it’s important to keep an eye on market trends and geopolitical developments to stay ahead of the game.

Gold shares: Forecast – will the gold price continue to rise?Looking at the past 100 years, gold has performed approximately anti proportionally to the financial market. Wars and political tensions scare investors in the financial market and drive them into real assets. This was also seen at the beginning of the pandemic, which was seamlessly followed by the Ukraine war.In March 2021, the gold price rose from 1,437 euros per ounce at the time to over 2,000 euros.

Despite the Ukraine crisis, however, the price of gold subsequently lost significantly again and today (22.09.2022) is quoted at 1,697 euros. Many experts believe that a further increase in the gold price is conceivable in the future.
 
What speaks for it:
Concerns about an increase in inflation,
  • a weaker U.S. dollar,
    key interest rate adjustments by central banks,
    political conflicts in Europe.
  • At present, global gold reserves are higher than ever before in the history of the world. Unlike other commodities that are consumed, gold is virtually indestructible.
  • The U.S. holds the highest reserves (about 8,133 tons/287 million ounces), followed by Germany (3,417 tons/120 million ounces) and the United Nations specialized agency, the International Monetary Fund (3,217 tons/113 million ounces). France, meanwhile, is in fourth place (2,586 tons/91 million ounces). In March 2008, the price of gold reached over US$1,000 per ounce for the first time.
Gold share forecast: Is it worth buying?
Gold ETFs and gold ETCs provide a low-cost investment in gold. However, they have one drawback: tax treatment.
Gold coins or bars are exempt from tax when sold after a holding period of at least one year.
